Now to the Tour Down Under where Tasmanian cyclist William Clarke shone brightly on today's 2nd stage. He was out in a two man breakaway with BMC's Martin Kohler. The Swiss rider claimed the sprint bonuses and Clarke the King Of The Mountain. Kohler then dropped back to the bunch miscalculating Clarke's endurance capabilities. Taking out a 1'02" victory ahead of the peloton he is leading the Jayco Sprint classification because of the 15 points he collected for the stage win and the six he claimed in the intermediate sprints behind Kohler.
