On leave

I'm currently on a week off from work. Just normal annual leave. Catching up on a few things and doing those odd jobs I left for rainy days but didn't do on those rainy days (lazy slob!)

The new Mac is going well. I'm very pleased with it.

I've started reading a book called Separate Lives. It's partly set in the Greek Islands (wouldn't you know it). I've added it to the Typelist on the right. I found the book at the local book market reduced from $29.95 to $9.95. A bargain don't you think? I know, I know, it's one of those womens romance novels... but it's Greece peeps!

The throbbing tower of power

The G5 has arrived and works like a charm (so far). Tony and I picked it up today, swapped over all my files and apps and things are just hummin'.

What more can I say - "it goes! ...it just GOES!"

Life in the fast lane....

I'm upgrading to a 64-bit processor soon. Apple Australia are offering special G4 trade-ins for a G5 this month. I'm only getting the 1.6GHz single processor but that should be all I need.
